Position Overview

We are seeking qualified candidates for Graduate Level roles under the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment. Key Responsibilities

  • Station Master (SM): Manage station operations, ensure safe and timely train movement coordination, oversee station staff, handle passenger assistance, and maintain operational records.
  • Goods Train Manager: Coordinate freight operations, ensure compliance with operating procedures, manage documentation related to goods movement, and support safe dispatch/receipt processes.
  • Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: Supervise ticketing and commercial activities, ensure customer service standards, manage ticket checking/support functions, and handle revenue-related station commercial operations.
  • Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist: Perform accounts/clerical work, data entry, bill processing support, maintain registers and files, and provide typing support in English/Hindi as required.
  • Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: Manage clerical administration, drafting/typing of correspondence, record management, and support departmental coordination.
  • Maintain compliance with railway rules, safety standards, and departmental SOPs.
  • Assist during audits/inspections and support reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university in India (as per the respective post eligibility).
  • Age: Typically 18 to 36 years (as per official notification 기준/date), with applicable age relaxation as per government/RRB rules.
  • Typing Skill (for Typist posts): Proficiency in typing in English or Hindi on a computer is essential for Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist roles.
  • Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the medical standard applicable to the post (e.g., A-2 / B-2 / C-2 as notified for specific roles).
  • Selection Process Compliance: Willingness to participate in and qualify through the official stages such as CBT Stage-I/Stage-II, skill/aptitude tests (where applicable), document verification, and medical examination.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in a regulated environment.
  • Comfort working in shifts/rotational duties (role dependent) and in public-facing operational settings.
