Position: Junior Engineer (Civil) – Group B

DDA is seeking detail-oriented and technically strong Junior Engineers (Civil) to support planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering works across development and maintenance projects. This role involves site coordination, measurement and quality checks, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and contractors to deliver works safely, on time, and as per standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, supervision, and execution of civil works including roads, buildings, drainage, and allied infrastructure.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms.
- Prepare and verify measurements, estimates, and work bills; maintain measurement books and site records.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely progress.
- Support testing and quality assurance activities for materials and workmanship.
- Report progress, constraints, and risks to senior engineers; contribute to project documentation and audits.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, guidelines, and departmental procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute (as per the referenced eligibility criteria).
- Technical skills: Understanding of civil construction practices, estimation/measurement, and basic quality control processes.
- Field readiness: Ability to work on-site, travel within Delhi/NCR as required, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Documentation: Comfortable maintaining structured records and preparing basic reports.
- Communication: Clear communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Compliance mindset: Commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
