Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties related to internal security, border management, and protection of critical infrastructure (as per force/department posting).
- Maintain law and order support functions and assist in operational deployments when required.
- Carry out patrolling, vigilance, and security checks as per standard operating procedures.
- Follow instructions, maintain discipline, and adhere to service conduct rules and uniform standards.
- Participate in training, drills, and physical conditioning programs.
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation as required during service.
Requirements
- Education: Must have passed Class 10 (Matric) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Age limit (as on 01 January 2026): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 23 years (age relaxation as per SSC rules).
- Physical readiness: Must be capable of meeting standards required for PET/PST and medical fitness.
- Documentation: Must be able to produce valid certificates/ID and eligibility documents during verification.
- Other: Willingness to serve anywhere in India and work in challenging field conditions.
