CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute (CSIR-NBRI), Lucknow invites online applications for multiple positions including Technical Assistant, Technician, and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) for a total of 30 posts.   • Maximum Age (Technical Assistant & Technician): 28 Years
  • Maximum Age (JSA): 28–31 Years (post-wise)
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR-NBRI/CSIR rules.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Assistant: Provide technical support in assigned laboratory/field/engineering domains; assist in operation and maintenance of instruments/equipment; support documentation, data recording, and standard procedures as per institute norms.
  • Technician: Perform trade-related and technical tasks; assist in routine lab/technical operations; maintain tools/equipment; follow safety and quality procedures; support day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts / Store & Purchase): Provide clerical and administrative support; manage files/records and correspondence; assist in finance/accounts or procurement/store processes as assigned; perform computer-based work and typing tasks.

Requirements (Eligibility)

  • Technical Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university in India or Diploma in Engineering. (For subject-wise eligibility, refer to the official notification.)
  • Technician: One of the following:
    • Class 10th with 55% marks and ITI certificate, or
    • 10+2 with Science and 55% marks plus 2 years of apprentice experience, or
    • Class 10th with Science and 55% marks plus 3 years of relevant trade experience.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts / Store & Purchase): 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board in India and computer typing skills.
  • Candidates should verify detailed eligibility, trade/subject requirements, and any additional criteria from the official CSIR-NBRI notification.
