Responsibilities
- Participate in structured on-the-job training as per IOCL apprenticeship guidelines and the assigned trade/discipline.
- Assist supervisors and technical teams in day-to-day operational, maintenance, and support activities relevant to the apprenticeship category.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and site instructions during training.
- Maintain training logs, documentation, and complete assigned learning modules/rotations on time.
- Support basic troubleshooting, inspections, and routine tasks under supervision (for trade/technician apprentices).
- Comply with attendance, discipline, and assessment requirements as prescribed by IOCL.
Requirements
- Age Limit (as on 31 January 2025): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 24 years (age relaxation as per IOCL rules).
- Educational Qualification (indicative, as per trade/category):
- Trade Apprentices: Class 10 (Matriculation) with ITI in the relevant trade (e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic, Instrumentation, etc.) from a recognized institute/board.
- Graduate Apprentices: Bachelor’s degree in any stream (e.g., BA, B.Com, B.Sc, etc.) from a recognized university.
