Responsibilities
- Maintain law and order and ensure public safety within the assigned jurisdiction.
- Conduct investigations, collect evidence, prepare case diaries, and file reports as per legal procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate field operations, patrols, and team deployments.
- Manage station-level administrative tasks, documentation, and coordination with senior officers.
- Support specialized duties for designated cadres (e.g., Special Branch, Cyber Crime, Computer, Angul Chinh, Documents in Question) as per departmental needs.
- Participate in training, physical fitness standards, and operational readiness activities.
Eligibility / Requirements
Educational Qualification
- For Subedar / SI / SI (Special Branch) / Platoon Commander: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- For Sub Inspector (Angul Chinh): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized university in India.
- For Sub Inspector Computer / Cyber Crime: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer (BCA / B.Sc. Computer) from a recognized university in India.
