Responsibilities
- Assist in inspection and assessment of electrical installations, equipment, and related systems for compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Support testing, verification, and documentation of electrical works, including preparation of inspection notes, checklists, and reports.
- Help identify non-compliances, safety risks, and corrective actions; follow up on rectification as per procedures.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (contractors, facility representatives, and internal teams) to schedule inspections and ensure availability of required technical documents.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, observations, and outcomes in line with departmental requirements.
- Support enforcement and advisory activities related to electrical safety and statutory compliance.
- Assist senior officers in field visits, technical reviews, and other duties assigned by the department.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience:
- Degree holders: minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Diploma holders: minimum 10 years relevant work experience
- Knowledge: Must have knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail for reporting and record-keeping.
- Willingness to travel for field inspections as required.
