Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a platoon, ensuring discipline, morale, and performance standards are consistently maintained.
- Plan and execute training programs (drills, physical conditioning, tactical exercises) to maintain operational readiness.
- Coordinate daily activities, duty rosters, and resource allocation to meet operational requirements.
- Conduct briefings, debriefings, and after-action reviews to improve team performance and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee personnel administration, including attendance, performance feedback, and development planning.
- Manage incident response and support field operations, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
- Maintain equipment accountability and readiness; coordinate maintenance and inventory checks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional units to support broader operational objectives.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, ethical conduct, and respect within the unit.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a security, defense, police, emergency response, or similarly structured environment.
- Strong knowledge of unit management, drill/training coordination, and operational planning.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear instructions and formal reports.
- Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and manage risk appropriately.
- High standards of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Physical fitness suitable for field leadership responsibilities and training participation.
- Comfortable working in shifts or extended hours as operational needs require.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications/training in leadership, safety, first aid, or operational command.
