Position: UPSSSC Junior Assistant (09/2022) – Typing Test Support & Operations Coordinator
Location: Uttar Pradesh (test centers/department offices as assigned)

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Junior Assistant to support departmental administrative operations and assist in smooth coordination of typing test and related examination activities. This role involves clerical support, documentation, data handling, and candidate-facing facilitation aligned with government processes and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support including file movement, drafting routine letters, and maintaining registers.
- Assist in coordination of typing test logistics and candidate facilitation (where assigned), including verification support and document handling.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, admit card/roll details, attendance sheets, and correspondence as per departmental SOPs.
- Perform data entry, formatting, and document preparation using standard office tools.
- Support timely compilation of reports, summaries, and status updates for supervisors.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive candidate/department information.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (test centers/vendors) for scheduling, communication, and issue resolution.
- Follow government guidelines for documentation, record retention, and process compliance.
Requirements
- Graduate (Bachelor’s degree) from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in office administration tasks such as drafting, filing, and record management.
- Strong typing and computer skills; ability to work efficiently with common office software.
- Good communication skills and professionalism while dealing with candidates and officials.
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, rules, and timelines.
- Ability to work under pressure during exam-related peak periods and manage multiple tasks.
- Integrity and commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Preferred: Prior experience in government office work, examination support, or administrative coordination.
