Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is seeking eligible candidates for the role of Constable (Driver). This position supports CISF operations through safe, disciplined, and mission-ready driving and vehicle handling across industrial units and sensitive installations. Selected candidates will participate in a structured selection process that includes a Trade Test and Document Verification (DV), followed by further stages as applicable per CISF recruitment rules.

Responsibilities
- Operate authorized vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with CISF protocols and traffic regulations.
- Perform driving duties for operational movements, logistics support, and official transport requirements.
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip checks (fuel, brakes, lights, tires, fluids) and report faults promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicle(s) and ensure readiness for deployment.
- Follow route plans, security instructions, and movement orders as issued by the unit.
- Support convoy/escort movements where required and comply with safety and communication procedures.
- Assist in documentation related to vehicle logbooks, mileage, and duty records as directed.
- Adhere to CISF conduct, discipline, and uniform standards at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Typically Matriculation/10th pass from a recognized board (as per the applicable CISF recruitment notification).
- Driving Skills: Must be capable of demonstrating driving proficiency during the Trade Test.
- Licensing: Valid driving license for the required vehicle category/categories as per recruitment rules.
- Document Readiness: Ability to produce original documents and self-attested copies during Document Verification (DV) (e.g., educational certificates, ID proof, caste/category certificates if applicable, domicile documents if required, driving license, and other documents specified in the call letter).
- Physical Fitness: Must meet CISF physical/medical standards as per recruitment norms.
- Discipline & Conduct: Strong integrity, reliability, and ability to work under a chain-of-command structure.
- Availability: Willingness to serve in shifts and be posted anywhere in India as per CISF requirements.
