Key Responsibilities
- Support excise enforcement operations, including field inspections and compliance checks.
- Assist in preventing illegal manufacture, transport, and sale of illicit liquor and related contraband.
- Participate in patrols, checkpoints, and raids as per departmental instructions.
- Prepare basic reports/records related to inspections, seizures, and operational activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other law-enforcement/administrative units when required.
- Maintain discipline, integrity, and adherence to government service conduct rules.
- Meet physical readiness standards and participate in training and drills.
Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board.
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2023)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (UR – Male): 25 years
- Maximum Age (BC/EBC – Male): 27 years
- Maximum Age (UR/EWS/BC/EBC – Female): 28 years
- Maximum Age (SC/ST – Male & Female): 30 years
- Age relaxation as per JSSC/government rules.
Physical Eligibility (PET Standards)
- General/BC/EBC (Male): Height 160 cm; Chest 81 cm; Running 10 km in 60 minutes
- SC/ST (Male): Height 155 cm; Chest 79 cm; Running as per notified standard
- All Categories (Female): Height 148 cm; Running 5 km in 40 minutes
