We are seeking detail-oriented and service-driven candidates for the role of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). The LDC supports day-to-day office administration, documentation, data entry, and clerical operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing of official work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks including filing, indexing, and maintaining office records.
  • Handle data entry tasks and maintain databases/spreadsheets with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in drafting, typing, and formatting official letters, notices, and routine correspondence.
  • Support document movement, dispatch/receipt registers, and coordination between departments/sections.
  • Operate standard office equipment and computer applications for routine administrative work.
  • Provide support during examinations/administrative activities as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintain compliance with office procedures, timelines, and record-retention policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Intermediate (12th) pass in any stream from a recognized board.
  • Skills: Knowledge of computer operation and typing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with documents and numerical data.
  • Good communication skills and professional conduct in a public-facing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 37 years (age relaxation as per applicable government rules).
