Position: Assistant Manager (Officer Grade ‘A’)

PFRDA is seeking high-caliber professionals for the role of Assistant Manager (Officer Grade ‘A’) across multiple streams including General, Finance & Accounts, Information Technology (preferably AI/ML), Research (Economics/Statistics), Actuary, Legal, and Official Language (Rajbhasha). This role offers the opportunity to contribute to India’s pension sector regulation and development through policy support, supervision, research, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support regulatory and supervisory work related to pension funds, intermediaries, and associated entities.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing regulations, guidelines, circulars, and internal policies.
- Conduct analysis of market/industry data and prepare reports, briefs, presentations, and notes for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (regulated entities, government bodies, service providers) to support initiatives and compliance requirements.
- Participate in inspections, reviews, and assessments; document findings and recommend corrective actions where applicable.
- Contribute to project execution, process improvements, and digital/technology enablement initiatives (especially within IT/AI/ML stream).
- For specialized streams: perform domain-specific duties such as financial reporting/analysis, legal vetting, actuarial assessments, economic/statistical research, or official language translation and communication support.
Requirements
- Age: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules).
- Education/Eligibility (stream-wise):
- General: Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s in Law/Engineering, or ACA/FCA from ICAI.
- Finance & Accounts: Bachelor’s degree in any stream with ACA/FCA/ACMA/FCMA/CFA.
- Information Technology (preferably AI/ML): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Research (Economics): Master’s in Statistics/Economics/Commerce/Business Administration (Finance)/Econometrics.
- Research (Statistics): Master’s in Statistics/Economics/Commerce/Business Administration (Finance)/Econometrics.
- Actuary: Bachelor’s degree and passed Actuaries exam (refer to official notification for specifics).
- Legal: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Official Language (Rajbhasha): Master’s in Hindi with English at graduation level, OR Master’s in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at graduation level.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work in a structured, compliance-oriented environment.
- Comfort working with data, reports, and cross-functional coordination; proficiency in common office tools is expected.
