Responsibilities
- Preside over civil judicial proceedings and ensure orderly conduct of court.
- Interpret and apply statutory provisions, precedents, and procedural rules to matters before the court.
- Hear arguments, examine evidence, and pass interim and final orders/judgments with clear legal reasoning.
- Manage case files, court records, and ensure compliance with timelines and procedural requirements.
- Handle applications, motions, and other procedural matters in accordance with law.
- Maintain judicial ethics, impartiality, confidentiality, and high standards of professional conduct.
- Coordinate with court staff for scheduling, documentation, and effective courtroom administration.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) – 3-year or 5-year course from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation as per Rajasthan High Court Civil Judge Recruitment Rules.
