Role Overview
As a Civil Judge, you will preside over civil proceedings, manage court processes, analyze evidence and arguments, and deliver reasoned judicial orders and judgments in accordance with applicable laws and procedural rules.
Responsibilities
- Hear and decide civil cases and related judicial proceedings within assigned jurisdiction.
- Interpret and apply statutes, precedents, and procedural rules to matters before the court.
- Conduct hearings, record submissions, evaluate evidence, and ensure due process for all parties.
- Draft and pronounce orders/judgments that are legally sound, well-reasoned, and clearly articulated.
- Manage court calendars, case flow, and compliance with timelines and court directions.
- Maintain judicial ethics, impartiality, confidentiality, and decorum in all proceedings.
- Coordinate with court staff for documentation, scheduling, and record management.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) – 3-Year or 5-Year course from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation as per Rajasthan High Court Civil Judge Recruitment Rules.
- Strong understanding of civil law, procedural law, legal reasoning, and judicial writing.
- High standards of integrity, impartiality, and professional conduct.
