Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific analysis and technical evaluations in your specialization area (Geology/Geophysics/Chemistry/Hydrogeology) as per assigned departmental requirements.
- Support field investigations, sampling, mapping, and interpretation activities (as applicable to the role).
- Prepare technical notes, reports, and documentation based on observations, lab/field data, and analytical outcomes.
- Use scientific methods and domain tools to interpret geoscientific datasets (e.g., geophysical signals, hydrogeological parameters, chemical analysis results).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project planning, execution, and quality assurance.

Requirements
Educational Qualification (role-specific)
- Geologist (Group A, Cat-I): Master’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Geology, Earth Science, or related field.
- Geophysicist (Group A, Cat-I): Master’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Physics/Applied Physics/Geophysics/Marine Geophysics or equivalent.
- Chemist (Group A, Cat-I): Master’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university in India.
- Scientist B (Hydrogeology) (Group A, Cat-II): Master’s degree (completed or final year) in Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology or equivalent.
- Assistant Hydrogeologist (Group B): Master’s degree in Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology/Hydrogeology from a recognized university.
- Assistant Chemist (Group B): M.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Physical/Inorganic/Organic/Hydro-Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry (or similar) from a recognized university/institute.
- Assistant Geophysicist (Group B): M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Marine Geophysics (including integrated/tech programs) from a recognized university.
