We are inviting applications for the role of Mandi Parishad Sachiv Grade II, a key administrative position supporting regulated market (mandi) operations. The role involves assisting in market administration, compliance, record management, coordination with stakeholders, and supporting efficient agricultural marketing systems in Uttar Pradesh.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administrative operations of the mandi/market committee as per applicable rules and procedures.
• Maintain and update official records, registers, correspondence, and documentation related to market operations.
• Assist in coordination with traders, farmers, commission agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth market functioning.
• Support implementation of policies, circulars, and directives issued by competent authorities.
• Help in monitoring compliance related to market fees, licensing, and other regulatory requirements (as applicable).
• Prepare drafts of notices, reports, and routine communications; ensure timely submission of required statements.
• Participate in examinations/assessments and selection stages as notified (e.g., written exam, typing test, document verification, medical examination).
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisory officers in line with the post.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing, Science, Commerce, Economics, or Agricultural Economics (or equivalent as per official notification).
• Eligibility: UPSSSC PET 2023 score card required (as per recruitment conditions).
• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (as on 01 July 2024). Age relaxation as per UPSSSC rules.
• Skills: Strong administrative aptitude, documentation and record-keeping skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a regulated/public-service environment.
• Selection Process (indicative): Written Examination, Typing Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination.
