Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and school academic calendar.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes discipline, inclusivity, and student well-being.
- Assess student learning through tests, assignments, projects, and continuous evaluation; maintain accurate records.
- Use effective pedagogical strategies, including activity-based learning and appropriate educational technology.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments through structured revision and remediation plans.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, student mentoring, and academic counseling as required.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, house events, assemblies, clubs, and school initiatives.

- Maintain compliance with school policies, child safeguarding norms, and professional conduct standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Marks: Candidates should meet the eligibility benchmark (minimum 50% marks as applicable for the OST/eligibility criteria).
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education). For select streams such as Computer Science/IT, qualifications may include BE/B.Tech/MCA in CS/IT or M.Sc. Mathematics as applicable.
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
- PRT (Primary Teacher): Graduate with B.Ed., or a 2-year Diploma, or a 4-year Integrated Course (as applicable).
- Age Limits (as per AWES guidelines):
- Fresh candidates: below 40 years.
- For NCR schools: TGT/PRT below 29 years; PGT below 36 years.
- Experienced candidates: below 57 years.
- Strong communication skills in English and/or Hindi (as required for instruction and school communication).
- Sound understanding of pedagogy, curriculum planning, classroom management, and assessment practices.
- Comfort with computer-based systems for teaching, reporting, and school administration tasks.
