Position: Railway Protection Force (RPF) Sub Inspector (SI) / Constable
Overview: Railway Protection Force (under the Ministry of Railways) invites eligible candidates for the roles of Constable and Sub Inspector (SI). Responsibilities
- Support railway security and safety operations at stations, trains, and railway premises.
- Assist with maintaining law and order and preventing unauthorized activities on railway property.
- Conduct patrolling, surveillance, and incident reporting as per departmental protocols.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for crowd management, passenger assistance, and emergency response.
- Participate in verification, documentation, and procedural compliance during operations.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and adherence to service rules.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Constable: Class 10 (High School) pass from a recognized board in India.
- Sub Inspector (SI): Graduation (Bachelor’s degree) from a recognized university in India.
- Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024):
- Constable: 18 to 28 years
- Sub Inspector (SI): 20 to 28 years
- Age relaxation as per RRB/RPF rules.
- Ability to meet Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency requirements as applicable (PST/PET).
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Strong integrity, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
