Responsibilities
- Perform general duty and security operations as assigned by the respective force/unit.
- Maintain law and order support, public safety assistance, and operational readiness.
- Participate in patrolling, guarding duties, and field deployments as required.
- Follow operational protocols, discipline standards, and chain-of-command instructions.
- Maintain physical fitness standards and participate in mandatory training programs.
- Support emergency response, crowd management, and security arrangements when deployed.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, verification processes, and medical/fitness requirements during selection and service.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation (Class 10) pass from a recognized board.
- Age: 18–23 years as on 01 May 2024 (relaxation as per SSC rules).
- Physical Standards (Height):
- General/OBC/SC: Male 170 cm, Female 157 cm
- ST: Male 162.5 cm, Female 150 cm
- Chest (Male only):
- General/OBC/SC: 80–85 cm (expanded)
- ST: 76–81 cm (expanded)
- Physical Efficiency (Running):
- General/OBC: Male 5 km in 24 minutes; Female 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes
- SC/ST: Male 1.6 km in 7 minutes; Female 800 m in 5 minutes
- Ability to clear selection stages including CBT, PET, PST, document verification, and medical examination (as applicable).
- Strong discipline, integrity, teamwork, and willingness to serve in challenging environments.
