Programmer (BELTRON) — Examination & Answer Key Support

Position: Programmer (BELTRON) — Examination & Answer Key Support

We are seeking a detail-oriented Programmer to support computer-based examinations and post-exam processes, including answer key workflows, candidate response-sheet handling, basic portal troubleshooting, and data validation. This role blends technical skills with process discipline and strong documentation practices to ensure accurate, timely, and auditable exam-related outputs.

This opportunity is well-suited for candidates who enjoy working with structured data, secure systems, and time-bound releases (e.g., admit cards, exam city details, answer keys, and result-preparation artifacts).

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end post-exam technical operations, including answer key publication, candidate response-sheet retrieval, and objection-window configurations.
  • Assist in maintaining and validating exam portal features such as login flows (Registration/Roll Number + Password/DOB), downloads, and document availability.
  • Perform data checks and reconciliation for exam events (exam dates, re-exam schedules, admit card availability, answer key release timelines).
  • Develop and maintain scripts/tools for processing structured datasets (candidate lists, response data, key mappings) with appropriate audit logs.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate content placement in “Latest Notices/Answer Key” sections and related pages.
  • Help monitor and resolve common user issues (download failures, login errors, incorrect link routing) and escalate complex incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality requirements for exam materials and candidate data.
  • Create clear technical documentation and SOPs for repeatable release processes (answer key, final key, result-prep handoff).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and ability to write reliable, maintainable code.
  • Experience with web technologies and backend scripting (any of: Java/Python/Node.js/PHP) and databases (SQL).
  • Comfortable working with structured data formats (CSV/JSON) and building validation checks.
  • Understanding of role-based access, basic security practices, and handling sensitive data.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict timelines (release windows and deadlines).
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting online examinations (CBE/CBT), publishing admit cards/answer keys, or handling objection-management workflows.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation aligned with skills and experience.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale digital examination systems.
  • Structured processes, documentation culture, and exposure to secure workflows.
  • Learning and growth opportunities across web systems, data operations, and release management.
  • Supportive team environment with clear ownership and accountability.

About the Company
