  • Coordinate with laboratories, regional offices, and partner institutions to ensure timely and accurate data collection and validation.
  • Assist in compliance assessments, audits, and technical evaluations of industrial/process units and pollution control systems.
  • Contribute to applied research projects, pilot studies, and technology assessments (e.g., treatment systems, emission controls, monitoring instrumentation).
  • Support digital workflows for data entry, validation, and management; collaborate with IT teams where required for environmental data systems.
  • Participate in meetings, hearings, and inter-departmental coordination; provide technical inputs for decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation, records, and traceability as per applicable regulatory and quality frameworks.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Computer Science, or IT or Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (any branch) / Environmental Science.
  • Strong understanding of environmental fundamentals (pollution sources, transport, control technologies, and monitoring concepts).
  • Ability to work with datasets and produce clear technical documentation; proficiency with common office tools (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations).
  • Familiarity with environmental sampling, laboratory practices, QA/QC, or compliance processes is preferred.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Willingness to travel for fieldwork/inspections as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with environmental monitoring instruments, laboratory information systems, or data platforms.
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks, environmental impact assessments, or compliance audits.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis, GIS, or scripting/data tools is a plus.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work on high-impact environmental programs with measurable public benefit.
  • Structured professional environment with exposure to national-level standards, monitoring networks, and cross-functional projects.
  • Training and skill development through technical assignments and collaborative initiatives.
