Responsibilities
- Undergo structured on-the-job training in the allotted trade/discipline as per ICF/Apprenticeship guidelines.
- Assist shop-floor teams in production, maintenance, fitting, fabrication, electrical/mechanical works, or other trade-specific activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality practices, and safety instructions at all times.
- Maintain training records, logbooks, and submit progress updates as required by supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and learn relevant tools, equipment handling, and workplace discipline.
Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Apprentice (Fresher): Passed Class 10th (Matric) with at least 50% marks (and as per notification, candidates should have studied Science/Math as applicable).
- Apprentice (Ex-ITI): Passed Class 10th (Matric) with at least 50% marks and completed a 2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
- MLT / PASAA: As per trade requirements in the official notification (Fresher/Ex-ITI categories available).
Age Limit (as on 11 August 2025)
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Maximum age: 24 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Railway/ICF rules.
