This recruitment drive covers 5,810 vacancies across multiple graduate-level NTPC roles. Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by post and may include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling passenger-facing services, ticketing, and commercial operations (as applicable).
  • Coordinating station operations and ensuring safe, efficient train movement (Station Master/Traffic roles).
  • Managing train operations and logistics for freight services (Goods Train Manager).
  • Supporting accounts and administrative functions, including documentation and data entry (Accounts/Clerical roles).
  • Performing typing and computer-based office tasks where required (Typist posts).
  • Following Indian Railways rules, procedures, and reporting protocols.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute in India (or equivalent) for graduate-level NTPC posts.
  • Typing Requirement (where applicable): Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer is essential for typist roles (e.g., Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist).
  • Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
    • Minimum Age: 18 years
    • Maximum Age: 33 years
    • Age relaxation as per RRB rules and regulations.
  • Other: Candidates should review the official notification for post-wise eligibility, standards, and conditions.

Fee Refund (as per notice): After appearing in Stage I Exam, ₹400 will be refunded for General/OBC candidates and ₹250 will be refunded for other candidates to the bank account.

Payment Mode (Online): Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card / Mobile Wallet.
