Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) invites online applications for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 10+2 (Inter Level / Under Graduate Level) roles. This recruitment drive covers a total of 3058 posts across multiple zones/regions. Selected candidates will support passenger-facing and clerical/typist functions within the Indian Railways ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support, including record maintenance, data entry, and file management.
  • Assist in passenger service operations (where applicable), including ticketing and customer query handling.
  • Perform office coordination tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining registers, and handling routine correspondence.
  • For typist roles: execute accurate typing tasks in English/Hindi as per prescribed speed standards.
  • Support compliance with departmental procedures, documentation standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Participate in verification and audit-related documentation activities as required.

Requirements

  • Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board in India.
  • Marks: General/OBC/EWS candidates require 50% marks; SC/ST/PH candidates require pass only (as per notification).
  • Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01 January 2026 (relaxation as per RRB norms).
  • Typing Skill (for Accounts Clerk Cum Typist / Junior Clerk Cum Typist): English 30 WPM or Hindi 25 WPM.
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment with attention to detail and integrity in handling official records.

Application Fee (Online)

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹500
  • SC / ST / EBC: ₹250
  • All category female: ₹250

Fee Refund (as per notice): After appearing in Stage I exam, ₹400 (General/OBC) and ₹250 (other candidates) will be refunded to the bank account, subject to applicable rules.
