Responsibilities
- Dispense homoeopathic medicines accurately against valid prescriptions and as per departmental guidelines.
- Maintain proper stock records, batch tracking, and expiry monitoring for medicines and consumables.
- Support inventory planning, indenting, receipt verification, and safe storage of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, pharmacy standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Provide basic patient counseling on dosage, storage, and adherence, within the scope of the role.
- Maintain registers, issue logs, and documentation required for inspections and reporting.
- Coordinate with medical officers, nursing staff, and administrative teams for smooth pharmacy operations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pharmacy area.
Requirements
- Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) with Science stream.
- Professional Qualification: 2-year Diploma in Homoeopathic Pharmacist.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Homeopathic Medicine Board.
- Age Limit: As per UPSSSC rules (age relaxation applicable as per government norms).
- Working knowledge of record-keeping and basic computer use is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling medicines, and ability to follow SOPs.
