Responsibilities
As an Apprentice, you will undergo structured training and assist teams in day-to-day shop-floor and technical activities, which may include:
- Supporting fabrication, fitting, welding, machining, electrical, and related trade activities under supervision.
- Learning and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rail coach manufacturing/maintenance processes.
- Assisting in preventive checks, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance tasks as per trade requirements.
- Maintaining workplace safety, using PPE, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Keeping basic records/logs as required during training.
- Participating in on-the-job training modules, assessments, and evaluations.
Requirements
- Education: Class 10th (Matric) pass from a recognized board in India.
- Technical Qualification: ITI Certificate in the relevant trade/branch.
- Age Limit (as on 07 January 2026): Minimum 15 years; Maximum 24 years.
- Age Relaxation: As per RCF/Indian Railways apprenticeship rules and applicable regulations.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and follow instructions and safety protocols.
