Surveyor & Mines Supervisor (Grade-II)

Position Summary
We are seeking qualified professionals for the roles of Surveyor and Mines Supervisor (Grade-II) to support field surveying, mapping, and mining supervision activities. The ideal candidates will combine strong technical knowledge in surveying/mining/geology with a safety-first mindset and the ability to work effectively in field conditions.

Openings: 72 total (Surveyor: 30; Mines Supervisor Grade-II: 42)


Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys, measurements, and mapping activities using standard surveying methods and instruments.
  • Prepare and verify survey drawings, plans, and field notes; maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support mining operations by monitoring site activities, ensuring adherence to technical plans and operational guidelines.
  • Assist with geological and mining-related field assessments, including basic observations and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and participate in routine safety checks and reporting.
  • Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and site teams to align field outputs with project requirements.
  • Contribute to data validation and quality checks for survey and site information.
  • Support document submission and verification processes as required by the organization.

Requirements

  • Education (any one, depending on role/eligibility):
    • Diploma in Mining Engineering; OR
    • B.Sc. (Geology) with 1 year experience in mapping and field survey; OR
    • Diploma in Mining or Civil Engineering from an institute recognized by the Government of India.
  • Language & Local Knowledge: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthan’s culture.
  • Age: 20 to 40 years (age relaxations may apply as per applicable regulations).
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of surveying techniques, engineering principles, basic mathematics/analytical ability, and fundamentals of mining/geology (role-dependent).
  • Field Readiness: Ability to work outdoors and in site conditions; willingness to travel to project locations as required.
  • Professional Competencies: Attention to detail, documentation discipline, teamwork, and adherence to safety and operational procedures.
