Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Coordinator to support exam communications, schedule tracking, candidate guidance, and documentation workflows related to SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examinations. This role focuses on ensuring accurate dissemination of exam-date notices, maintaining candidate support processes, and coordinating internal checklists aligned with official SSC updates (e.g., Tier-II exam schedule, admit card and city details, answer key notices, and results).
This position is ideal for professionals who are comfortable working with official notifications, handling time-sensitive updates, and providing clear, compliant guidance to candidates and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track official SSC updates related to SSC CGL, including Tier-I/Tier-II schedules, results, answer keys, re-exam notices, and city/admit-card announcements.
- Coordinate timely publication and internal circulation of exam notices, ensuring accuracy of dates, instructions, and links.
- Maintain a structured calendar of key milestones (e.g., application timelines, fee payment deadlines, correction windows, exam dates, and result dates) and notify relevant teams of changes.
- Support candidate inquiries regarding how to check exam dates, download notices, and access portal resources using enrollment/registration details or date of birth.
- Prepare and validate content for candidate-facing communications (email/SMS/portal updates), ensuring clarity and adherence to official wording.
- Assist in compiling and organizing documentation such as cutoffs, answer key notices, result PDFs, and official notifications for internal reference.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, content, support) to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Maintain compliance practices by referencing only official sources (e.g., SSC website) and applying appropriate disclaimers where required.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for exam update handling, escalation paths, and quality checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in coordination, administrative operations, education/exam support, or content operations (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify information against official sources.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convert official notices into candidate-friendly instructions.
- Comfortable working with web portals and document formats (PDF), and maintaining link repositories.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and time-sensitive updates with minimal supervision.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and tracking tools for timelines and status reporting.
- High integrity and commitment to accuracy; ability to follow compliance and disclaimer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SSC CGL processes (Tier-I/Tier-II), including common candidate workflows (exam city details, admit card download, answer key challenges).
- Experience supporting large-scale examinations, admissions, or government recruitment communications.
- Experience in customer support or candidate helpdesk operations.
