Job Summary
As a Radio Cadre Assistant Operator, you will support police communication operations by assisting in radio/communication handling, maintaining discipline and readiness, and performing duties as assigned in accordance with departmental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day radio/communication operations as per departmental instructions.
- Support communication coordination and relay of operational messages through authorized channels.
- Maintain readiness for shift-based duties and adhere to communication protocols.
- Comply with physical standards, efficiency requirements, and departmental discipline.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority within the scope of the role.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed 12th (Intermediate) with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 22 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per UPPRPB rules.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Male Candidates
- UR/OBC/SC: Height 168 cm; Chest 79-84 cm
- ST: Height 160 cm; Chest 77-82 cm
Female Candidates
- UR/OBC/SC: Height 152 cm; Minimum weight 40 kg
- ST: Height 147 cm; Minimum weight 40 kg
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: 4.8 km in 28 minutes
- Female: 2.4 km in 16 minutes
