Responsibilities
- Undergo structured apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act/BLW training schedule.
- Learn and assist in trade-specific shop-floor/technical activities under supervision of BLW staff.
- Follow safety practices, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines applicable to the assigned trade.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and training records as required by the training establishment.
- Participate in assessments/tests conducted during the training period.
Requirements
Educational Eligibility
- ITI Apprentice: Class 10 (Matric) with minimum 50% marks and ITI certificate in the relevant trade (trade-wise eligibility as per official notification).
- Non-ITI Apprentice: Class 10 (Matric) with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit (as on 05 August 2025)
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age (Non-ITI): 22 years
- Maximum Age (ITI): 24 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per BLW/Railway rules.
