Responsibilities
- Perform role-specific administrative, clerical, confidential communication, or accounts-related duties as assigned by UP Police/UPPRPB.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Support operational units through timely reporting, data handling, and compliance with confidentiality requirements (where applicable).
- Coordinate with internal teams for document verification, reporting, and official correspondence.
- Adhere to service rules, conduct standards, and any applicable confidentiality and security protocols.
Eligibility & Requirements
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: As per UP Police/UPPRPB rules and applicable regulations.
Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
- Sub-Inspector (Confidential): Graduate; Typing speed (English: 30 wpm, Hindi: 25 wpm); Stenography: 80 wpm; ‘O’ Level course.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk): Graduate; Typing speed (English: 30 wpm, Hindi: 25 wpm); ‘O’ Level course certificate.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts): B.Com degree; Hindi typing: 15 wpm; ‘O’ Level course certificate.
