Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and candidate-focused CMAT Admission Coordinator to manage end-to-end admission support for CMAT aspirants. The role involves guiding applicants through eligibility, application timelines, documentation, fee-related queries, exam updates, and post-result counseling, while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for CMAT aspirants and applicants via phone, email, chat, and in-person counseling.
  • Provide accurate guidance on admission processes, eligibility criteria, required documents, and key deadlines.
  • Maintain and publish admission timelines, including application windows, correction periods, admit card updates, answer key/result notifications, and counseling schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (academic office, finance, IT, marketing) to ensure smooth applicant journey and timely issue resolution.
  • Support applicants with form-filling, document upload, and troubleshooting of common portal/payment issues.
  • Verify applicant documentation for completeness and authenticity; flag discrepancies for escalation.
  • Track application status, follow up on pending actions, and maintain high conversion through structured outreach.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on leads, applications, conversions, and frequently asked queries.
  • Assist in organizing webinars, counseling sessions, and admission drives; maintain attendance and feedback records.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in line with privacy and institutional policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education counseling, student services, or related roles (freshers with strong communication skills may be considered).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are a plus).
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and applicant queries simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace; comfort using CRM tools and online application portals.
  • Basic understanding of competitive exam workflows (application, admit card, answer key, result, cutoff, counseling) preferred.
  • Professional, empathetic counseling approach with a service mindset.
  • Ability to work during peak admission periods, including occasional weekends/extended hours.
