Position Summary

We are hiring a detail-oriented Support Specialist to assist candidates with SSC Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) processes, including Self Slot Selection, Exam City Details access, and general portal navigation. This role focuses on guiding users through official steps, troubleshooting common login issues, and ensuring accurate communication of key dates, eligibility highlights, and required information.

This position is ideal for someone experienced in government exam support, candidate communications, and structured problem-solving, with the ability to explain procedural steps clearly and professionally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist candidates in accessing and understanding Exam City Details and Admit Card related updates through official SSC channels.
  • Provide step-by-step guidance for Self Slot Selection, including navigating the dashboard and entering required credentials (e.g., Registration Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Verification Code).
  • Triage and resolve common issues such as login errors, incorrect credential entry, verification code failures, and browser/device compatibility concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal reference notes on key timelines (application window, correction dates, exam dates, city details release dates) and communicate them accurately.
  • Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team with clear reproduction steps, screenshots (when applicable), and candidate impact assessment.
  • Ensure all communication is compliant, factual, and aligned with official notifications (no unofficial promises or misrepresentation).
  • Support candidates with understanding selection stages (CBT, PET/PMT, Computer Proficiency Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination) at a high level.
  • Track recurring issues and propose improvements to FAQs, scripts, and knowledge base content.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in candidate support, helpdesk operations, or customer service (preferably in education, testing, or government exam ecosystems).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain multi-step processes clearly.
  • Comfort working with web portals, dashboards, and online forms; ability to guide users through credential-based login flows.
  • High attention to detail and ability to reference dates and instructions accurately.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills (cache/cookies, browser settings, device switching, network checks).
  • Professional judgment and confidentiality when handling candidate data (Registration Number, DOB, etc.).
  • Ability to work during peak periods around exam city release and exam dates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SSC workflows and terminology (CBT, PET/PMT, DV, admit card, exam city intimation).
  • Experience creating support documentation (FAQs, scripts, macros, knowledge base articles).
  • Multilingual capability (Hindi/English) to support a broad candidate base.
