Position: Insurance Assistant (RLT & Operations Support)
We are seeking detail-oriented, customer-focused candidates for an Insurance Assistant role supporting core insurance operations and service delivery. This position is ideal for graduates who are comfortable working with documentation, customer queries, policy-related processes, and regional language communication as required for local servicing. The role may involve participation in a Regional Language Test (RLT) and other selection/verification stages per organizational process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day insurance operations including policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, and basic claims support.
- Handle customer inquiries via in-person, phone, and digital channels; provide accurate information and resolution within defined timelines.
- Support documentation workflows: data entry, KYC/identity checks, record maintenance, scanning, indexing, and file management.
- Coordinate with internal teams (underwriting, claims, accounts, branch operations) to ensure smooth case movement and closure.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, registers, and operational trackers as assigned.
- Ensure adherence to process guidelines, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively in the applicable regional language for customer service and branch coordination, including reading/writing where required.
- Support document verification and other administrative tasks during audits or periodic reviews.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Age: Typically 18 to 26 years (age relaxations may apply as per applicable recruitment rules/policy).
- Comfort with basic computer operations (MS Office/Google Workspace), data entry, and online portals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactional work with accuracy.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to qualify/participate in selection stages that may include written tests, regional language assessment, document verification, and medical examination (as applicable).
- Integrity, reliability, and willingness to learn insurance processes and regulatory norms.
