Position: Stenographer (Hindi) – UPSSSC
Overview: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is recruiting Stenographers for a large-scale intake. Responsibilities
- Take accurate dictation in Hindi shorthand (target speed: 80 WPM) and transcribe into typed format.
- Perform Hindi typing tasks (target speed: 25 WPM) for official documents, letters, notes, and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive government correspondence and records.
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with office standards.
- Support administrative workflows including file movement, record upkeep, and coordination with departments.
- Use basic computer applications and office productivity tools as required for day-to-day tasks.
Requirements
- Education: Passed Class 10th / SSC level examination from a recognized board.
- Eligibility: Valid UPSSSC PET 2023 score card.
- Skill Requirements:
- Hindi Stenography: 80 WPM
- Hindi Typing: 25 WPM
- NIELIT CCC (or equivalent) certification
- Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per UPSSSC rules).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in transcription, and time management.
- Ability to follow government documentation standards and maintain professional conduct.
