Responsibilities

Translate official documents, circulars, notices, manuals, and correspondence between Hindi and English with high accuracy.
Review, edit, and proofread translated content to ensure correct terminology, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
Support preparation of bilingual materials for internal and external communication.
Maintain translation quality standards and follow prescribed official language guidelines and terminology.
Coordinate with departments to clarify context, technical terms, and intended meaning.
Assist in documentation, record-keeping, and other language-related administrative tasks as assigned.
Participate in selection stages as applicable (e.g., written exam, translation/skill tests, document verification, medical examination).

Requirements

Educational Qualification

Post Graduation Degree in Hindi and English with English and Hindi as compulsory subjects.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 25 years
Age relaxation applicable as per RRB recruitment rules.

Skills & Competencies

Strong command over Hindi and English (reading, writing, comprehension).
Excellent translation and proofreading capability with attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive documents.
Comfort with basic computer applications and document formatting tools.
