Overview: RSSB is seeking qualified Aayush professionals to deliver evidence-informed AYUSH healthcare services, support preventive and promotive health initiatives, and contribute to public health programs. This role involves clinical care, patient counseling, documentation, and coordination with health teams to ensure quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinical consultation and treatment in the relevant system (Ayurveda/Homoeopathy/Unani) as per applicable standards and protocols.
- Assess patient history, perform clinical examinations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modification, diet, preventive care, and adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, registers, and reports as required by the health facility and program guidelines.
- Coordinate with medical and paramedical staff for referrals, follow-ups, and continuity of care.
- Support implementation of public health and wellness initiatives, including community outreach and awareness programs where assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and ethical standards; participate in audits/inspections as required.
- Assist in document verification, medical examination formalities, and other administrative requirements during onboarding.
Requirements
- Education (any one):
- Degree of Bhishagacharya / Ayurvedacharya / Bachelor degree in Ayurveda (B.A.M.S) from a recognized university, or
- Graduation in Homoeopathy (B.H.M.S) from a recognized university, or
- Graduation in Unani (B.U.M.S) from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (as on 01 January 2026). Age relaxation as per applicable RSSB rules.
- Strong clinical reasoning, patient communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a public health/clinical team environment.
- Willingness to comply with departmental policies, reporting requirements, and posting norms (including TSP/Non-TSP as applicable).
