Position: Junior Assistant / Senior Assistant (Airport Operations & Administration)

We are seeking detail-oriented and service-driven professionals to join our airport operations and administrative teams. This role supports smooth day-to-day functioning across terminal operations, passenger facilitation, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and office administration. Candidates with strong communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work in shift-based environments are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Support airport terminal operations including passenger assistance, queue management, and coordination with relevant teams.
- Handle administrative tasks such as record maintenance, file management, data entry, and document preparation.
- Assist in operational reporting: compiling daily logs, shift reports, and incident registers as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders (airlines, security, ground handling, vendors) to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and service standards.
- Provide front-desk/office support including handling calls, emails, and visitor coordination when assigned.
- Support basic inventory tracking, stationery/asset registers, and administrative procurement processes (role-dependent).
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling official information and documentation.
- Work in rotational shifts, including weekends/holidays, based on operational requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board; higher qualifications may be preferred for Senior Assistant roles depending on assignment.
- Experience:
- Junior Assistant: Freshers may be considered; internships or customer service exposure is a plus.
- Senior Assistant: Prior experience in operations/administration/customer service is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, data entry); ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks during peak operations.
- Other: Willingness to work shifts; ability to stand/walk for extended periods in operational areas (as applicable).
