Responsibilities
- Participate in structured on-the-job training within the assigned trade as per the apprenticeship framework.
- Assist senior technicians and supervisors in day-to-day maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation, and operational support activities (as applicable to the trade).
- Follow safety procedures, use tools/equipment responsibly, and comply with workshop/yard safety and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain training logs/records and complete assigned modules within stipulated timelines.
- Support team operations during routine tasks and learn standard operating procedures relevant to railway working environments.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- Technical Qualification: ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT approved institution.
- Age Limit (as on 02 November 2025): Minimum 15 years, Maximum 24 years (age relaxation as per RRC NWR Apprentice recruitment rules).
- Ability to meet medical fitness requirements applicable to apprenticeship engagement.
- Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in an industrial/railway operational environment.
