Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in the assigned subject as per institutional and regulatory standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions (where applicable).
- Design and evaluate assignments, internal assessments, and examinations; ensure timely grading and feedback.
- Support academic mentoring and guidance for students, including project/dissertation supervision where applicable.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, curriculum development, and academic administration as assigned.
- Contribute to research, publications, and academic development in line with UGC/State norms (as applicable to the appointment).
- Assist in institutional duties such as committees, admissions support, proctoring, and other academic responsibilities.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized university (or equivalent qualification).
- Eligibility: Must have qualified UGC NET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
