Position Overview
The Lab Attendant supports day-to-day laboratory operations, including handling basic lab materials, assisting in maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the lab, and supporting staff during routine activities as per departmental requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining laboratory cleanliness, organization, and basic readiness.
- Support routine lab activities as directed by supervisors/authorized staff.
- Help with safe handling and movement of laboratory items and materials as per instructions.
- Maintain basic discipline, punctuality, and adherence to departmental procedures.
- Support documentation or simple register/record assistance as assigned (where applicable).
Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th (Matric) examination from a recognized board.
- Language/Cultural Knowledge: Knowledge of working in written Hindi in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation as per RSSB Lab Attendant recruitment rules.
