Responsibilities
- Perform trade-specific technical work in manufacturing/production/maintenance environments as per HVF standards and safety procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot tools, machines, and equipment relevant to the assigned trade.
- Read and follow job cards, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions (as applicable to the trade).
- Support quality checks/inspection activities and ensure adherence to defined tolerances and workmanship requirements.
- Follow shop-floor discipline, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in material handling, rigging, loading/unloading, and related activities where required by the role/trade.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet production timelines and operational targets.

Educational Qualification (Trade-wise)
Candidates should possess NAC/NTC in the relevant trade (or equivalent criteria as specified), for example:
- Electrician / Examiner (Electrician): NAC/NTC in Electrician / Power Electrician
- Fitter General / Examiner (Fitter General): NAC/NTC in Fitter General (some roles also accept Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance / Tool & Die Maker as applicable)
- Machinist / Examiner (Machinist): NAC/NTC in Machinist
- Welder / Examiner (Welder): NAC/NTC in Welder Gas & Electric / Armoured Welding
- Electronics: NAC/NTC in Electronics Mechanic
- Auto Electric: NAC/NTC in Auto Electrician
- Heat Treatment: NAC/NTC in Forger and Heat Treater
- Operator Material Handling Equipment: NAC/NTC in Crane Operations or Class X (or equivalent) with Heavy Vehicle Driving License and 2 years’ crane handling experience
- Rigger: NAC/NTC in Rigger or Class X (or equivalent) with 2 years’ experience in loading/unloading in a large industry (turnover above 500 Cr.)
- Sand & Shot Blaster: Class X (or equivalent) with 2 years’ experience in shot blasting in an industry
