We are seeking an AIEEE Exam Cutoff Marks Content Specialist to research, verify, and publish accurate, student-friendly information related to exam cutoffs, eligibility, important dates, application processes, and result updates. This role focuses on producing reliable, well-structured content that helps candidates quickly understand key details and make informed decisions.
You will work closely with editorial and SEO teams to ensure content is timely, compliant, and easy to navigate. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data from official notifications, and capable of converting complex exam information into clear, structured web content.
Responsibilities
- Research and compile cutoff-related information (previous year cutoffs, expected cutoffs, category-wise trends, institute-wise cutoffs where applicable) from credible and official sources.
- Create and maintain pages covering exam-related updates such as important dates, application steps, fee details, eligibility, selection process, and result timelines.
- Verify all figures, dates, and claims against official notifications, exam authorities, and authentic publications before publishing.
- Write and format content in clean HTML with headings, lists, tables (when needed), and clear sectioning for readability.
- Update content quickly when new notifications, corrections, or changes are released; maintain version accuracy and change logs internally.
- Collaborate with SEO stakeholders to implement metadata guidance, internal linking, and keyword alignment without compromising editorial integrity.
- Ensure content adheres to editorial standards, avoids misleading information, and includes appropriate disclaimers when data is projected/expected.
- Support content audits by identifying outdated pages and proposing refresh plans (data updates, structure improvements, FAQ additions).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; education in Journalism, English, Education, or related fields is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing/editing, preferably in education, exams, careers, or public information domains.
- Strong ability to interpret official notifications and convert them into clear, accurate summaries.
- Excellent written English with strong grammar, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers, categories, and structured datasets (cutoffs, dates, fees, seat counts, etc.).
- Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices (search intent, headings, internal links, snippet-friendly formatting).
- Ability to write and publish using HTML (paragraphs, lists, headings; tables are a plus).
- High integrity in sourcing: ability to cite/track sources and avoid speculation presented as fact.
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple updates during peak exam seasons.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building exam pages for competitive engineering/entrance exams.
- Basic understanding of analytics (Search Console/GA) to identify content improvement opportunities.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and editorial workflows (draft, review, publish, update cycles).
- Ability to create concise FAQs and explain cutoff calculation/normalization concepts in simple terms.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with performance-based increments.
- Flexible work options (remote/hybrid depending on location and team needs).
- Learning opportunities in SEO, content strategy, and education publishing.
- Paid leave and standard company holidays.
- Supportive editorial environment with clear review and quality processes.
