UPSC NDA Examination Support Specialist (Answer Key & Candidate Guidance)

Position: UPSC NDA Examination Support Specialist (Answer Key & Candidate Guidance)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven professional to support candidates preparing for and participating in the UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) examinations. This role focuses on publishing and maintaining examination resources such as answer keys (including subject-wise PDFs), guiding users through download steps, and ensuring timely, accurate updates across web and app channels.

You will work closely with content, operations, and compliance stakeholders to ensure exam-related information (e.g., important dates, vacancy highlights, answer key status, and essential links) is presented clearly and responsibly, with an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Publish and maintain exam resource pages for UPSC NDA (and related exams), including answer key availability, subject-wise links, and essential candidate instructions.
  • Validate and format downloadable resources (e.g., PDF answer keys) and ensure link integrity across web and mobile app surfaces.
  • Create clear step-by-step candidate guidance for accessing answer keys, admit cards, notifications, syllabi, and previous year papers.
  • Coordinate release updates, ensuring the “status” (e.g., available) is accurate and updated promptly as sources change.
  • Perform quality checks for accuracy, readability, and consistency (dates, exam names, vacancy counts, and labels such as “official” vs “unofficial”).
  • Support user engagement channels (e.g., Telegram/Instagram/community updates) with concise, compliant announcements and CTAs.
  • Assist with FAQ creation and maintenance (application process, eligibility clarifications, fee notes, selection process summaries).
  • Monitor user feedback and troubleshoot broken links, missing files, or content discrepancies; escalate issues to technical teams when needed.
  • Ensure content adheres to internal editorial standards and avoids misleading claims, especially for unofficial answer keys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in content operations, education services, public information, or digital publishing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive updates (e.g., exam day and post-exam releases).
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, step-by-step instructions for candidates.
  • Comfort working with web CMS tools and basic HTML formatting for structured content (headings, lists, links).
  • Ability to verify information across sources and label content appropriately (e.g., “official website” vs third-party resources).
  • Basic understanding of competitive exam ecosystems (UPSC/defence exams preferred) including common candidate workflows (registration, admit card, answer key, results).
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to maintain link repositories and update logs.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling exam-related information and user queries.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work on high-impact education and exam-support content used by a large candidate base.
  • Collaborative environment with content, product, and operations teams.
  • Skill development in content operations, publishing workflows, and user experience writing.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and location.
  • Flexible work arrangements may be available depending on team needs.
