Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational units in assigned CAPF organization and location.
- Plan and execute security, law & order, and field operations as per command directives.
- Ensure readiness, discipline, training, and welfare of personnel under command.
- Coordinate with local administration and other security agencies during operations.
- Maintain operational documentation, reporting, and compliance with force regulations.
- Uphold integrity, professionalism, and service conduct expected of a gazetted officer.

Requirements
- Eligibility: Candidates who have qualified the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2022 are eligible to submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) as applicable.
- Age Limit: As per UPSC rules.
- Physical Standards (as provided):
- Height: Male 165 cm; Female 157 cm
- Chest (Male): 81–86 cm
- Physical Efficiency (as provided):
- 100 meters: Male 16 seconds; Female 18 seconds
- 800 meters: Male 3 min 45 sec; Female 4 min 45 sec
- Long Jump: Male 3.5 meters; Female 3.0 meters
- Shot Put (Male): 7.26 kg in 4.5 meters
- Documents (scanned) for online submission: Photograph and signature.
