This role is an opportunity to serve in the education system of Delhi through DSSSB recruitment for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Drawing Teacher positions (Advt. No. 02/2024). Selected candidates will contribute to classroom instruction, student development, and the effective delivery of curriculum aligned with applicable standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Assess student learning through assignments, tests, projects, and continuous evaluation methods.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning resources to improve comprehension and participation.
- Support student development through mentoring, guidance, and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership for academic planning and co-curricular activities.
- For Drawing Teacher roles: design and deliver art/drawing instruction, evaluate practical work, and encourage creativity and visual expression.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject.
- Professional Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Education.
- Certification: CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) passed.
- Age Limit (as on 08 March 2024): 18 to 32 years (age relaxation as per rules).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create structured lesson plans and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching and continuous improvement.
