We are seeking an Admissions & Outreach Coordinator to support end-to-end university admissions operations, applicant guidance, documentation verification, and outreach campaigns. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple application cycles, coordinate with academic departments, and ensure a smooth applicant experience from inquiry through enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person counseling.
  • Provide accurate guidance on eligibility, program requirements, application steps, important dates, fees, and document submission.
  • Coordinate the admissions workflow: application intake, data entry, document tracking, shortlisting support, and status updates.
  • Verify and validate applicant documents (identity, academic records, category certificates, etc.) according to institutional policies.
  • Support examination/admit card related coordination where applicable (communication, instructions, scheduling updates).
  • Maintain applicant records in the admissions portal/CRM and ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Prepare and publish applicant communications such as notices, FAQs, checklists, and step-by-step instructions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (departments, finance, IT, examination cell) to resolve applicant issues and streamline processes.
  • Assist in organizing outreach activities: webinars, campus visits, school/college engagement, and digital campaigns.
  • Generate periodic reports on applications received, conversion metrics, document verification status, and pending actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance applicant experience and reduce processing time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, student services, education administration, or customer support (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume applications and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs, email) and comfort with online portals.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong coordination skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak admission periods.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with admissions CRMs, ERP/student information systems, or online application platforms.
  • Basic understanding of document verification, eligibility evaluation, and academic record handling.
  • Ability to create clear applicant instructions, checklists, and process documentation.
  • Reporting and dashboard skills (Excel pivots, basic data analysis).
