Position: NTA CUET PG Answer Key Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented NTA CUET PG Answer Key Analyst to support the end-to-end lifecycle of postgraduate entrance examination answer keys, including validation, discrepancy tracking, challenge/objection workflows, and publication readiness. This role involves close coordination with academic subject experts, operations teams, and technology stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with exam governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate provisional and final answer keys for CUET PG across assigned subjects, ensuring alignment with approved question papers and syllabi.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to verify correct options, resolve ambiguities, and document rationale for key decisions.
- Manage candidate objection/challenge processes: intake, categorization, triage, and tracking through resolution.
- Maintain structured logs of key changes, challenge outcomes, and version history to support auditability and reporting.
- Perform quality checks on answer key PDFs/portals for completeness, formatting consistency, and correct mapping to question IDs.
- Support score calculation readiness by confirming that final keys are correctly integrated into evaluation systems.
- Prepare internal summaries and dashboards on objection volumes, acceptance rates, and turnaround timelines.
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality, data protection, and examination integrity protocols.
- Collaborate with IT/portal teams to validate link activations, access controls, and download workflows for candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Education, Statistics, Public Administration, Computer Applications, or relevant discipline).
- 1–3 years of experience in examination operations, assessment services, academic QA, or similar roles (freshers with strong analytical skills may be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets, question IDs, and multi-version documents.
- Working knowledge of examination answer key processes (provisional key, objections, final key publication) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets (filters, pivot tables, lookups); familiarity with basic data validation practices.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting notices, internal memos, and resolution notes.
- Ability to manage deadlines during high-volume periods and maintain accuracy under pressure.
