Position: Informatics Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Informatics Assistant to support data operations, digital record management, and information systems coordination within a structured, process-driven environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, online portals, and documentation workflows, and who can maintain accuracy under deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and updating digital records, databases, and information repositories.
- Support data entry, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate routine reports and summaries using spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect, verify, and organize required information.
- Support online application/exam/result-related workflows, including credential-based portal activities where applicable.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and structured filing (digital and physical) as per SOPs.
- Assist in basic troubleshooting and user support for common IT and portal-related issues.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance while handling sensitive candidate/employee/organizational data.
- Contribute to process improvements for faster and more reliable information handling.
Requirements
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Informatics, or a related discipline (or relevant experience).
- Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).
- Working knowledge of databases and data handling concepts (tables, fields, validation, backups).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to follow structured procedures and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of web portals, login-based systems, and online form workflows.
- Preferred: familiarity with government/large-enterprise documentation processes and audit-ready recordkeeping.
